PDF

Regio X Capitolium in 1776, a long wedge reaching from the Capitoline and the Colosseum past S. Stefano Rotondo to Porta S. Sebastiano.

Dated 1776 in its cartouche, a year before the 1777 sheets of neighbouring regions, this plan shows the region as a narrow, densely hatched strip. The Colosseum, S. Clemente and S. Stefano Rotondo are lettered along it, and Porta Latina and Porta S. Sebastiano close the southern tip.
