A plan titled Rom: S. Paolo f. l. m., with a German legend, of the great basilica on the road to Ostia.
The German caption abbreviates the name as S. Paolo f. l. m. The plan shows a long, five-aisled nave leading to a transept and apse. It offers a clear picture of the basilica's proportions.
