Rome's universities are spread across several districts. These maps pin down campus buildings and addresses for the American University of Rome, LUISS and Sapienza.
LUISS Guido Carli is spread over several addresses, and each has its own pin map here. Viale Pola 12 is the historic campus and the university's headquarters, Via Parenzo houses the Department of Law, and the campus on Viale Romania 32, in the Parioli district, opened in October 2007 and hosts Economics and Finance. Other pins locate the library on Via di Santa Costanza, the student union on Viale Gorizia and the School of Government.
Sapienza, Rome's large state university, has its Città Universitaria beside the San Lorenzo district, within walking distance of Termini station. The campus, designed by the architect Marcello Piacentini, was completed in 1935. The plans on this page show its numbered buildings, the nearby site between Via del Castro Laurenziano and Via Antonio Scarpa, and a diagram placing the Policlinico Umberto I hospital next to the university.
The American University of Rome occupies a group of buildings on Via Pietro Roselli, on the Janiculum hill in the Monteverde Vecchio district, next to a stretch of the Aurelian Wall and close to Villa Sciarra and Villa Pamphili. Its plan labels the buildings A to F, which helps in finding the right entrance on a first visit, and the map also shows the neighbouring streets.
